unable to add Records to subgrid

Hello All,

Regarding the Sub grid Issue, When we try to add an existing or new PRS(CUSTOM) record to PRS Subgrid in invoice form, the lookup to select PRS Registrations is available  But once you select PRS registrations the selected registrations are not loaded to PRS Subgrid . Adding a new PRS record from the grid doesn’t update the current invoice Id to Invoice lookup in PRS form.

The relation between Invoice and PRS Registration(Custom Entity) is 1toN we could not find any problem.

Can any one help on this

Also, just to pick up from what MilindP just said or tried to say, if you set the 1:N relationship (Invoice to PRS) lookup field to required, when you create a PRS from Invoice form, you would get a popup; if you set it to optional, you would get a inline lookup, but regardless of what you set it to, the PRS record form should contain the invoice lookup and set it to the invoice from which you create the PRS.

So a couple of things to check, first on your PRS form, if you have the invoice lookup form, and can you verify the invoice lookup is populated to the right one?

If you already have the lookup field populated properly, I would tend to believe the subgrid is buggy - in a way I would simply remove it, and/or create a new brand new one just to troubleshoot.

Have you checked  if the sub grid data source entity and default view as the correct related entity & correct view?

    Hello,

Can you check if the sub grid data source (under sub grid properties) is All Record Types or Only Related Records, if it's All Record Types, set it to Only Related Records and then try.
