Hello,
Is there a way to have a percentage of a retainer applied to an invoice?
We are currently manually typing in the value of the retainer we want to apply to an invoice. This is time consuming.

Although definitely a good idea, there currently isn't a way to automatically apply a percentage retainer value to an invoice in Dynamics GP.
If this is a needed item I would recommend reviewing add-on products available for Dynamics GP created by alternate software companies to see if there may be an add-on product already existing that allows such functionality: www.isv-central.com/.../products.aspx
Also, as this is a good example of 'real world' need for Dynamics GP I would also encourage you to recommend including such a feature in a future code release (which is also the very best route to developmental attention for the product): experience.dynamics.com/.../
