EDI - Exporting 820 - Conditions

Posted on by 35

Hey there.

Really hoping someone would be able to help me out.

Setting up my first export of an 820 document and since I've joined I've never needed to do a conditional element.

Essentially I need the condition in the N1/N2/N3/N4 segment to trigger off of PE and PR (payee and payee)

Do I put my conditions in each of the N# segments where I require the fields, I currently have N101 set with the PR and PE

This is my N101 Condition.

If anyone could help point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

I see my screen shot didnt attach so its simply

Cond. Segment     Cond. Element    Cond. Value    Field Name

    N1                                 01                         PR                 PR

    N1                                 01                         PE                 PE
