D365HR - Remove duplicate leave

Hi,

We have noticed on a customer's HR instance that duplicate leave has been entered. This covers the same employee, dates, type and amount - only difference being the comment and reason code (one blank). Both of these were made less than 2 mins apart. Both are marked as approved, since the workflow for the type is auto-approve. However, the balance has only accounted for one of these.

1. After testing myself, this doesn't seem to actually be possible from the leave request view as the request is blocked for the 2nd request - is there anyway way, outside from the ESS leave request view, that this might have been achieved?

2. Is there any way we can remove this second request? I've tried deleting the days from dataverse advanced find from the following entities:

- Leave time off request V2 (mshr) - Virtual: Error w/ no information
- Leave Requests / Leave Request Details - Sync: Deleted from DV but not showing as so in HR

Thanks

    Hi Sam,

Did you try to remove duplicate data from the Excel workbook designer?
