Could you share a screenshot that where did you encounter such error?
e.g: when you open event records in sitemap?
or when you create a new event record in event form?
or when you were trying to import an event template as new record?
Please open advanced settings > security > users
to check whether Event Administrator or Event Planner user role has been assigned to your current user.
you could also assign with these roles:
* Marketing Feature Configuration Services User
* Marketing Services User
* Marketing, Business App Access
Any screenshot with error information would be helpful.
