Inventory Adjustments

In GP 2015, we use inventory allocation via sales order processing. Given this when attempting to complete an adjustment to on hand inventory there is insufficient inventory to make a negative adjust. Is there a solution to this inventory adjustment situation?

Do you mean that you have stock allocated to a sales orders but you want the warehouse staff to be able to de-allocate from the sales orders so as to be able to adjust the stock out of inventory?

If this is the case we would normally request that the sales staff de-allocate the order. As it is helpful they know what is going on if there is a stock discrepancy for a customer order.

If this is not what you mean then please clarify the aspect of this that is causing you an issue and what outcome you are seeking.
