Posting very slow

Hi experts, we have problems recenlty posting sales invoices and it will take about several minutes to post one invoice. From the posting message screen, it shows it is processing some of the items for the value entry table. Please advise! Thank you!

    I think it may be because of how your inventory setup is defined, if you setup automatic cost posting or adjust it takes time to adjust entries every time you post the invoice. Please read the below blogs and check your setup accordingly.

    Hi,

    It might  be some customisation with a while find loop or whatever.

    This is a real performance killer for memory. 

    Please share hardware details.

    Check your inventory posting setup. If you have sent the cost posting to every time then that could be the reason. because it will adjust the value entries at every transaction you post. You won't feel anything until your database get full with data, once your DB is grow up to some extent this slowness will trigger out.

    Normally what is best is to adj. cost entries using the batch job.
