Hello again. I'm new with MS Dynamics, but have 3+ years with another CRM. But right now trying to learn MS Dynamics 365 to become a PRO.

I have a question about customer's email, and do marketing for those emails. The question is:

How does the Email's should fall into MS Dynamics CRM for 100% delivery rate (when we doing a marketing email campaign inside the MS Dynamics)?:

  • Like by usualy when user on his phone, he spelling us a Email and we adding it, (and user never sent message to us)
  • user fill out the form at our site, (and user never sent message to us)
  • OR only use the DOUBLE-OPT-IN way? So the SPAM algoritms recognize that is not a SPAM (when we planning to do marketing campaign)

Sorry if the answer which I trying to ask is diffucult to understanding, I may explain more clearly.

BTW, I have that kind of issue ( and I actually figure out the solution by myself ) in my CRM. Hope everyone tell me that's everything OKay in Dynamics 365 CRM )

RE: Email Marketing and 100% delivery rate

    1. Does it make sense use same domain for personal email and email campaigns (for the same customers), but may be with different gateways?

or it's better to use different email or even subdomain? Just in search engines (email spam filters) eyes.

    2. Yup agree, dkim, spf, dmarc. And may be you know better way to buy a IP addresses for regular emails and email campaigns?

    3. Does it a new futuer into MS Dynamics 365 CRM and does it have possibility a different SMTP gateway for sending regular answers to email and sending a email campaing? (because artilce looks like new, and published after my question).

ps: my regular emails and emails campaigns are white, with big unsubsribe buttong at the begining and with my company details and address into it)

    Thx, Vitaly Makarkin.

RE: Email Marketing and 100% delivery rate

    Hello,

your are looking at multiple tasks for your successful email marketing campaigns.

    1. You need to have good quality email addresses for your audience - and double opt in can help you certainly here. This could be implemented through a subscription management. But you also would need to provide concepts like subscription centers where your audience can update subscriptions, consent and their data.

    2. You need to configure your email services to have valid DKIM configuration such that "your legitimate marketing emails should never smell 'phishy'"

    blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../dynamics-365-for-marketing-set-up-dkim-for-your-sending-domain-to-keep-up-with-recent-office-365-changes

    3. Read all about email deliverability here:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../get-ready-email-marketing

The classic marketing functionality using campaigns and quick campaigns is a great sales marketing tool tuned for automating sales marketing tasks that more corresponds to direct communication with prospects. Email communication goes through the Exchange / SMTP server for your organization. Bad audience quality (generating lots of hard bounces and spam reports) will lower your sender reputation and may lead to even a blacklisting of respective IPs. And that situation will be hard to recover from

For real marketing activities you need to consider using managed email marketing services embedded into a marketing functionality that offers double opt in, subscription management lets you observe and handle bounces, and provides the typical configurations for your trusted sender address.

Dynamics 365 for Marketing is a tool  you should consider for more advanced marketing use cases.

And 2 more questions about SMTP and integrated Email client (WEB+APP). Does actually that kind of integrated client exist (so I don't need to use and OutLook for Emails)?

PS: All of my Questions for the MS Dynamics 365 CLOUD version (I think hosted version I may do that, probably).
