SQL Server 2014 and SSRS-Designer

Hi all,

I recently installed AX 2012 R3 on a SQL Server 2014.

Now when I try to edit a report in visual studio I allway receive the following message: "Unable to preview the report, install the Business Intelligence Development Studio feature of Microsoft SQL Server For more information, see go.microsoft.com/fwlink

I try to install SSDT Visual Studio 2012 from following link and also try to install SSDT Visual Studio 2010 but nothing helped.

Can anyone provide my with a fix or a eorkaround for this Problem?

    I think there is a separate install for the SSDT BI addon.

    2012 is here www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Matt is right, there is a separate installer for SQL Server Data Tools now (you can find a hyperlink and explanation in the installer of SQL Server 2014).

    Unfortunately that won't help you when it comes to AX SSRS development :)

    Still AX needs to integrate with Visual Studio 2010 and therefore you have to have BIDS (Business Intelligence Development Studio). You can use a SQL Server 2008 R2 installation image to install it (it's one of the components you can select during installation of "A new standalone server or additional components" on the client machine.
