Hello,

I'm here: Send current technician location and arrival times to your customers with Dynamics 365 Field Service | Microsoft Docs

All works fine when I book a technician, but when I put the technician into a Crew (The technician and a Truck) the email and SMS connectors of the second step dont work.

There are some way in that I can to solve the problem? Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

May I ask whether the trigger of the flow in the second step cannot be triggered or the two connectors cannot be configured?

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Frank Gong

Can you elaborate on your scenario? Are you sending the location and arrival times to a customer? Or are you sending internally to the technician?

Are you using the bookable resource lookup field on the booking? Or the "owner" concept? The bookable resource lookup does not let you select a "team", rather a crew, so I would love to verify the exact relationships and scenario you are using

The connector works fine when I book a resource of type User, but when I book a resource of type team (User and equipment) the trigger of the flow cannot be triggered.

The bookable resource entity does not support a resource type of "team". It can be user, account, contact, etc. In your implementation, how are you relating the booking to a team? Is this the same "team" concept used across all of dynamics?

Sorry, the correct word is "Crew" NOT "team".

I'm trying to sending the location and arrival times to my customer.

    What I do is:

    Create the work order

Go to the board booking and book the work order to my Crew

    The flow cannot be triggered

A crew is a combination of 2 or more resources, one being a person.  When you book a crew, the booking also goes to the individual resource (well it does in all the cases I've performed).  Couldn't you grab that booking for the individual resource and send that? I believe the issue is the CREW itself may not necessarily travel together (may have different starting points, etc) and therefore would be nearly impossible to send.  It should be by individual resource of that crew - maybe the crew leader.
