Hi All

I have a question I need to group products by unit. That is, I have products in units and products/services in hours and I need to display this in separate tables.
Can this be done?

    Hi Marcin,
Unfortunately, we can't achieve it currently.
Now, when we need show related entities' records in the word template of current entity, we need set content control fields:
However, it can only display records directly and cannot perform other advanced functions.
Maybe you can create a new idea through the below URL, then ask your colleagues to raise up the votes.
    Ideas (dynamics.com)
Our product team has direct visibility of these ideas and they will implement it on the basis of the highest number of votes received.

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it is helpful! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah

    Hello Community Member,

As of today (26 Mar 2024), Microsoft has not released any option that allows to sort/filter the data while adding to the Document Template.

If you need the document to be generated in the expected format only, then get for SSRS/FetchXML report using the custom report builder.

Microsoft Ideas for the same request: Microsoft Idea (dynamics.com)

Other than the OOB Word Templates option,

There's a Populate Word Template Action in Powerautomate,

You can filter the Array data and show them in seperate tables.

However, the templates have to be stored in a different location like SharePoint or One drive and every dynamic values has to be fetched using dataverse actions.

You can watch this video for more details on it.
