I am not sure in which cases value entry in production order generates and in which case not generated?

Hi ishan,
In any case, where there is no value involved in capacity posting (like if you have posted the output journal for the operation which is not the last one and with no time and the work center is having cost calculation on time) then system will create the capacity ledger entry but not value entry.
I have tested the same above test case and found that there is no value entry created against the capacity ledger entry.
I suggest check this case and let me know if you have further query on this.

It is working properly for consumption and output journals.
I am facing trouble when for some capacity ledger entries value ledger entry does not generate.
Like on consumption of any component, item ledger entry generates.
On what instance does the value entry generate or not for capacity ledger entry(processing cost).
When you post consumptions and Output journals then it should create value entries.
