Hi all

I got this error message when I try to Release sales order to warehouse for picking. Do you have any ideas what is wrong?

Hi,

You might want to check if the wave template for sales orders is correctly assigned and activated. If the data source (like sales order or load line) isn't enabled in the wave template, you'll see this error.

Let us know what the wave template setup looks like.

I deleted the wave template and created a new, but the same error appeared.

Hi Erik,

Looked at the setup screen you shared. Have a similar setup for one of the customers.

A few suggestions:
1. Looks like the replenishment step is missing in the Wave template setup. Add the replenish method and later add this step in the Wave template. Also, ensure that this option is enabled in your Wave template for automatic replenishment.

2. Check this link. Can see the edit query option enabled in your case. This should help resolve your issue.

3. Check the work templates and the work classes and there is an edit query option in that screen which points to the Sales order lines section. The pre-requisite is to setup the Work templates and have the work classes linked with the work templates.

A few questions:

1. Do you have a warehouse assigned to the sales order from where you are looking to trigger the release process?
2. Additionally, is the following setup under Warehouse management -> Setup -> Work templates and work classes setup complete?

Hi guys

Thank you very much for your feedback. I deleted all my setup and started from the beginning and now it seems to work. The error message made be really worried, but I understood from your answers that my setup was wrong. Thank you very much.
