How to test CRM application without having Ipad ?

Hello All Experts,

I have come across an incident on Ipad which is utilized by our client.

From our dev environment we don't have any ipad avaialble with us.

is there any possibility that i could test the functionality of CRM on laptop by utility dynamics 365 CRM app on laptop, which will be utilized as iPad app.

any help will be appreciable.

If you download the Dynamics 365 app from the windows store, that should replicate the iPad functionality.

Thanks for reaching Dynamics community forum. Though, this query is directly not related to Dynamics 365 customer engagement apps, I can think of these three options for you, the last two ones should be relatively more quicker.

Apple's Xcode development tools include an iOS simulator (iPhone and iPad) however, it requires to have at least a Mac OS device with you. Even after everything is setup, you would need .IPA file for "Dynamics 365 for phones" app just like you would have .APK file on Android which is a bit difficult though not impossible (Queries on Search engines like Microsoft Bing would give you lots of such articles when you query for finding the .ipa files for an iOS app) to find.

If you were able to find .ipa file for Dynamics 365 for phones app, you may run iOS apps with "Device Farm" on AWS where real live iPad devices can be used to test your apps.

If your aim is to just experience the Tablet device UI, you may consider installing Dynamics 365 for phones on Windows 10 powered tablets/laptops/desktops through Windows Store::
