Workflow - recall & Approval

Hello dear all,

i have a strange case with the workflows in a PO:

1º workflow was submit

2º workflow was recall

3º workflow was submit again

But the weird part is that the approval manager reports that he sees in his "work item assigned to me" - 2 approval requests.

(take into consideration that the 1º approval request was recall) , he should only see 1 to approve.

Any ideas why this happen??

thank you

The PO form is a standard form. So, we should be able to reproduce the same error in our own environment.

Can you tell me the version on which you are on currently? Meanwhile, I suggest you clear your user data usage and retry.

If you have access to table browser just open the "WorkflowWorkitemTable" - Filter by status "Pending" and UserId  "Approver user id".

If there are two records against that user from the table browser then it will show as 2 records only, since its coded like that in standard.

Below the example for opening the table browser.

    url/?mi=SysTableBrowser&tableName=[tablename]&cmp=[company]

    Example: environment.cloudax.dynamics.com/

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Hi Aleja,

I guess you are using D365, since the tag suggests the current version.

If yes you can open the "DefaultDashboard" form from visual studio and refer to method "loadWorkItems".

You can refer to the code and see what query is added to fetch work items assigned to user. Even you can debug and see the query used.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.
