AX2012 Set up Retail MPOS on local computer

Hi,

Im trying to install MPOS on my local laptop so that I can connect it to the Dynamics 2012 and AzureDevOps to have a developers environment.

In order to set up everything i need to install Retail components from AX Setup and I have done so for all required components except 2:

- Retail channel database;

- Retail Channel Configuration Utility

When I try to install these components I get 2 errors saying I need hotfix KB2703853 which i got and installed and it removed 1 error which now left me with second error that I cant fix:

I know it says install KB but I did that already:

And it has correct version which is above the minimal it is requiring:

I tried the link from the Log and that is the hotfix I have so that is already fixed.

I dont know why log finds version 3.1.1648.0 when in registry I have 3.1.2508.0 after installing KB.

Anyone had any similar issues and knows how to fix them?

The biggest problem for me is that everything keeps pointing me back to the KB hotfix but I already did it and its not working for me.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Yes, I have tried restarting computer many times as well as retry of the installation of the fix but nothing worked.

Of course, please take as much time as you need cause any help or information will be much appreciated as Im struggling with this problem for 2 days now.

Thank you for contacting us,have you performed a restart after the installation?

As this fix 2703853 patches both Retail core components and database providers as well, we will respond to you back with further update after looking into our repository for the installables.

Hence please give us some more time to get back to you with an update on this request.
