First of all, a “Happy New Year 2024” to the entire community.
Context of an annual leave plan N (current year) with a carryover to N-1: - It is December 10, 2023. I have 5 days left on my leave plan N and 0 days in N-1. - I take 2 days off on December 10, 2023 for January 2 and 3, 2024 on my Plan N.
OOB, The system on 01/01/24 will automatically grant me 26 days in Accrual Amount, and convert the remaining 5 days of 2023 on my N-1.
Logic would dictate that my 2 days spent are deducted from N-1, except they are deducted from N.
If I enter my 2 days on the N-1 as of December 10, 2023, then the system decrements me by -2 days whereas in practice I cannot enter negative days, and my balance as of December 10 and0.
What is the best functional solution, the right setup so that: 1/ I cannot enter negative on the N-1 2/ that these 2 days be taken on the N-1
