I deploy the label in the LIVE site, the label text cannot be work. Then, I delete the new label and re-create in the LIVE site, the report still show the @ABC123 (@ABC is the custom label name). Would you please to tell me which step should I try to do that I want the label text show in the report? Thank you

    Open label file in notepad and see, is there any text exist against this label id.

    When you recreate label it gets new label id so it wont be same @ABC123, you open the label editor in AX and find the label text, it will give you new label id. You would need to use this new label id in your report.

    BTW its not recommended to delete labels in live and recreate them there otherwise you will end up with label files mismatching in all environments. Next time when you will deploy label file from non-production to production it will be overwritten and you will again face same issue.

    Hi satoyuichi,

         Here is the sample code useful to get the Enum label based on the passed enum value.
    int Mth,yearselected;
    str Monyr;
    DictEnum de;
    de = new DictEnum(enumName2Id(“TST_MonthYear”)); //Enum Name
    Mth = mthOfYr(today()); //need to get label for the value of current month
    Monyr = de.index2Name(Mth);  //Passing the value to get the Enum
    This is help you to solve your problem.

    Thanks

    Suresh

    Hi,

    To apply the new label files in your AX4/5 machine (if you are working with preprocessing framework):

    ·         Copy the label file to the label folder in your AX4/2009 machine

    ·         Restart the AOS

    ·         Label folder in AX4/2009 is a sub folder under …\Application\Appl\ where you can find *.ald files in it.

    (or)

      check whether the AOS service was running on "network account" which perhaps did not full rights. i changed it to a admin account and was able to open the AX2012 R3 and now the labels are correctly displayed as text.

    Try all suggested steps in TEST first by importing the label file from LIVE to TEST.

    Have you directly used label Id in the report field? If yes, please use Labels!<label Id>
