How can i change Customer Group in AR Customer ditailes

Hello all.

I have a problem. actually i am using AX2009. Basically i have customer groups in AR module. i want to change customer group for some customers. Suppose i have Local, Export etc customer groups and i want to convert Some Customers from Local group to Export group,

 

Is it possible? If yes then kindly tell me how it is? Thanks

    Hi Ali, Can you provide some Information on how many customer accounts are affected by your planned change? If you only want to change the customer Group association of a small number of customers, you should be able - depending on your user rights - to do this manually. If, on the other hand, you plan to change a large number of customer records, you probably Need some development help and write a Job for changing the customer Group association. Please note that a change of the customer Group might cause some reconiliation issues between AR and GL. So please make sure that you document and test throughly before applying this change.

    Hi Ali, You should be able to change the customer group in the AR customer details form in AX2009 provided that you have the correct role and user rights. Probably just double check. Best regards, Ludwig

    actually i am using AX 2009 & AX 2012 R2, its Easy to do this Change on  AX 2012 R2 but I have a problem in AX 2009 the Customer group field is unavailable to change

    I only want to change the customer group for one customer

    Hi Ali, if you are not able to change the customer group in Ax2009 you either do not have sufficient user rights or a system modification prevents you from making this change. Maybe talk with a system admin guy or a developer, they'll be able to help. All the best, Ludwig

    Are you working with an AX2009 or AX2012 System?

    What exactly is your problem?
