Reopen Quality orders

Hi All

I have ax 2012 R3

Sometime I want to reopen quality order

I know it's from Functions then reopen quality order but this function not active as the picture below

any idea ?

Hi,

You can only Reopen a quality order that has a status of pass or fail.

Even the status pass or fail I can't reopen for some sold items

raw items I can reopen it

I'm assuming the quality orders you cant re-open are against production orders that are not reported as finished yet? If so, this is because the quality order wants to re-create the inventory block, but their is nothing RAF'ed yet off the production order, so no block can happen. When the quality order first creates against the production, the block is created as well but it disregards the fact that no inventory physically exists yet. Re-opening of a quality order is not this sophisticated, you must have the inventory on hand that matches the inventory dimensions on the quality order.

We've had multiple clients ask us to remove the inventory blocking altogether so we can re-open quality orders before we RAF the production order. Its a very small mod.

If the item is sold, then presumably its not on hand, and so that is why you can't open the QA order?

you can only reopen the quality order if destructive qty check box is unchecked & the status either fail or pass.

Abdalrahman Mohammed,

You can reopen that quality order which will be Pass or fail.Further the Destructive Test Column should be unchecked not checked.
