Hi,
We have a collection of RDL reports already authored that our users manually run from D365 Online. The reports use FetchXML to extract the information needed to display. We now want to be able to render these reports automatically to create PDF without user intervention. Does anyone have any recommendations how to go about that?
What I think I want is some sort of API where I can call the D365 SSRS server and ask it to render a report for me in the context of an authenticated user.
Thanks,
Dave.
HI,One suggestion for this.As per this https://www.c-sharpcorner.com/blogs/generate-pdf-file-using-javascript-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2015
article we can download report by sending XMLHTTPRequest. So, if you try the same with power automate then it might full requirement.Thanks,Pradeep.
Hi Dave,
In case you want to use a third party app/solution then can try Zap Report Scheduler App:https://zapobjects.com/apps/zap-ssrs-report-scheduler/
Does Zap Objects use the RDL files we have on the CRM server already?
Yes!
