Hi Tanmay,
When you check the "Do not ask again" check box in UI, will it still prompting when you creating customer?
Hi,
The Template is prompting when we:
1. Click on New button
2. Change type ie Organisation or Person
"When you check the "Do not ask again" check box in UI" - Yes Its working but ,my requirement is, It should not Prompt when we click on New button in All Customers and works Same as it is working for "2. Change type ie Organisation or Person".
go to record templates in org. admin and can clear the template
Can you explain the full scenario and requirement? Do you want to use a certain template automatically as default for all users or do you not want to use any template?
Hi Andre,
As I said in my previous reply that I don't want to prompt the Select a template for Customers form when clicking on New (Only create customer form should be visible)
But when we are modifying type ie Organisation or Person it should work as standard.
I do want to use the template but when I modify the type then only.
I tried using the COC of class SysRecordTemplate method:- getRecordTemplateValues , but no Luck.
Can you please suggest on this.
Thanks
It is clear now with your latest reply. You can have a look at the released products form. When you apply a template, it will overwrite values based on the template chosen. Probably, you can have a look how it is implemented here and use that to create a pop-up dialog when someone is changing the party type.
Can you please guide me from where we can apply template, please provide reference link for the same.
Also tell me what we change in release product so the template pop-ups while modifying the value.
I'm only able to provide the functional part here. I haven't looked at this from the technical point of view. Probably you can do some reverse engineering yourself to find what needs to be done.
As mentioned above, you can find the Apply template option on the action menu of the released products form. You can find documentation about it here: docs.microsoft.com/.../create-products-by-using-a-template
