Cannot close the period xx when there are sources documents remaining to be journalized with an accounting date - AX 2012 R3

Hi all,

I know this topic might long ago, but currently i have this issue when closing the FY.

I also checked some old post, but not works.

Does any one know how to check is there any open documents in this period? I have checked all the ways i know, but still can't find any.

Hi Thu,

When you search for older similar questions there are answers like: Check the form "Subledger journal entries not yet transferred".

Can you tell what exactly you have checked already? Did you also search on LCS issue search for possible hotfixes?

Hi Thu Ngo,

On LCS the following solution has been provided (Please check Solution 3722342Cannot close period, source document remaining to be journalized). There it says:

Closing a period requires that the user follows some steps as listed below:

* check if journals have been created and not posted with transaction date of the period.

* check if Purchase orders with status cancelled have been confirmed.

* Check if there are lines with status "waiting" in AP/Inquiries/History/InvoiceHistory and matching detail.

If the period cannot be closed, a job has been provided to identify the line in table AccoutingDistribution that have no AccountingEvent (=0).

Once detected, the job will delete these lines if not possible manually.

Yes, i checked already but there is no transaction here. TC team found the Table call "Accountdistribution" do you have any ideal where it is?

But date of creation is 2015? So could you advise me this case?
