Hello guys,

Been trying to learn about Export to Datalake feature but from my OneBox. I'm following this GitHub resource ->https://github.com/microsoft/Dynamics-365-FastTrack-Implementation-Assets/blob/master/Analytics/AzureDataFactoryARMTemplates/SQLToADLSFullExport/ReadmeV2.md#deploy-c-solution-as-azure-function

And while trying to open the solution from my Visual Studio, I always hit SDK error ->

I have installed .NET6.0 and .NET6.0.15 but after restart, the error still persist. May I know how to solve this ?

Also how actually to know whether the .NET does really installed (although the setup says the installation is completed)

For questions about how actually to know whether the .NET does really install, you can refer to this official document: Check installed .NET versions on Windows, Linux, and macOS - .NET | Microsoft Learn, this article teaches you how to check which versions of the .NET runtime and SDK are installed on your computer.

Here is the official solution documentation for NETSDK1045: NETSDK1045: The current .NET SDK does not support 'newer version' as a target. - .NET CLI | Microsoft Learn.

Below are the solutions for others who are experiencing the same problem:

Maybe you can try Visual Studio 2022, .NET 6 is supported with Visual Studio 2022 and Visual Studio 2022 for Mac. It is not supported with Visual Studio 2019, Visual Studio for Mac 8, or MSBuild 16. If you want to use .NET 6, you will need to upgrade to Visual Studio 2022 (which is also now 64-bit). For more details: visual studio 2019 - The current .NET SDK does not support targeting .NET 6.0. Either target .NET 5.0 or lower, or use a version of the .NET SDK that supports .NET 6.0 - Stack Overflow.

Or maybe you can specify the .NET Core SDK version & set preview version to true. For more details: azure devops - Error NETSDK1045: The current .NET SDK does not support targeting .NET 6.0 - Stack Overflow.
