Retaining access to F&O after move to another system

Hi,

I have a client who has been acquired and may be forced to move away from F&O to the parent company's finance system. They have asked me to get them costs for retaining access to F&O. Is the only option to pay for the min 20 seats or is there a way to move the full production environment (including blob storage so they can access all historic documents) to a lower tier or on prem environment? They need to retain access for 7 years.

If anyone has any advice this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

    Hi Dave,

I'm not a licensing expert to answer the question for the minimum of 20 seats. In case the customer needs to maintain the license, it would also need to update the software during the 7 years.

You can export the data to e.g. Azure Data Lake or create a backup of the database as alternative.
