How to Delete Bulk Data Entries/Records in Table/Form

Hi,

I am using Sandbox for bulk data uploading of Quality Test Instruments and Quality Tests. Below is the path of master data templates.

Modules > Inventory Management > Setup > Quality Control > Test Instruments

Modules > Inventory Management > Setup > Quality Control > Tests

First I've uploaded 300 entries as sample data. But now I want to upload bulk data. The problem is that there is no bulk data delete option available to delete the already uploaded sample data. I've searched on internet on many places. but could not find anything helpful.

I need help in finding an option or method to bulk delete the data from the forms.

While importing the data on the desired form; there is an option of "Truncate Entity Data". But its not working while enabling it during uploading process.

Hi,

In order to delete the existing data, import data with just 1 record and enable "Truncate Entity Data". Perform the import sequentially with 'Quality test' first followed by 'Quality test instruments'. It works perfectly on my environment.

Note - Delete the Precision column from excel file before importing Quality test instruments

Thank you Abdul Wasi for guidance.

Your proposed method doesn't work in my environment. I am using cloud hosted sandbox and "Truncate Entity Data" is not working in my environment. 1 entry data successfully imported but it didn't truncate the previous data.

Could you please guide me more on this topic. I am stuck at it.

are you facing the issues with both the data entities? Do you have system admin role as it's part of validation?

Yes, I've system admin role; and I'm facing issues of deleting bulk data on all the quality control templates. On front end, I can delete and create single entry one by one. But I want to delete all the entries in one form at once. "Truncate Entity Data" doesn't work at my end. I don't know why.
