Retail Headquarters parameters record cannot be read in SO

Hello everyone,

I get an error message when I create a SO line in D365FO.

Retail Headquarters parameters record cannot be read
Parameter record does not exist

I don't need retail functionality, currently, I am only creating a normal SO manually.
I get the same error message in Released product details.

I don't expect to get this error message since it is irrelevant to the retail module.

I have double checked the license configuration which is different to AX2012 and do not have anything about retail headquarter.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Pisces,

Have you verified if the error is gone when you have retail enabled as configuration keys? If so, you can hide the retail functionality with help of security permissions and Saved views.

    Hi
The documentation mentions that the system may have certain features and functionality enabled by default that are not applicable. Administrators should disable unwanted features by disabling license codes and configuration keys. To use the Retail module, all retail configuration keys must be enabled except the configuration keys in the call center group. Based on this, as Andre said, you can check if the error is related to this by enabling the configuration key. Be aware that enabling, disabling, and then re-enabling a configuration key may cause gaps in the data.Retail headquarters configuration key (RetailHeadquarters) | Microsoft Learn
    Best Regards,

The issue is an issue with the .37 version. I wrote a blogpost on this here:

Cannot access form Sales charge codes – JohanPersson.nu

In short: The issue will be fixed in .38 and the short term workaround is to disable the feature called Enable proper tax calculation for returns with partial quantity and then load the Retail parameters form in each Legal Entity affected. Then you can enable the feature again.

    Good Luck

    /Johan
