Waste recording in Dynamics Nav

Hi All,

From a production viewpoint, it would be useful to record our various types of material waste in Nav, has anyone experience of this?

I need to include the following:

Running Waste % for each material used in an item - Presumably recorded on Bill Of Materials?

Routing waste, but only for certain items in the BOM and varying depending on which Route/Production Line the item is being made on. (i.e. if we make it on line one, we'll get 10 out of a length, but if we make it on line two we have to take a trim and will only get 9 out of a length)

Additional waste, coming from "we made a mess of a batch today"

As appears to be usual, I've spent several hours in manuals and websites trying to find this out, but am none the wiser. Any pointers would be most welcome.
