Cannot find "Order Date" from Table ID 112 in Web services

Hi,

I wanted to do a quick shipping time analysis in Power Bi and realized that I'm not seeing the order date anywhere in the Web services Object ID 143 and 132 which are usually the ones for the Sales Invoice Header.

The information is available in TableData ID 112 from the Configuration Package... which mean the column has to be somewhere... anyone know where it might be hidden?

Thank you,

Thanks for the solution. Unfortunately Document Date are not matching Order Date in our system.

    Hi

    Adding to Zhu's comment.

I checked and order date is not available in page 132. You need to add it to Page 132 through designer and then use the other method to publish page 132 and this field.

Also, check and see if Document Date match Order Date. If it does then looks like that field is available in page 132 and should be available in web service.

Hi, as far as I know, there is no easy way.

A simple example, if you open this page on the web client.

As long as the fields that appear in Personalize are already added to the page, only the Visible property is False.

If you don't find the fields in Personalize, but have them in Design, it's a field in the table that hasn't been added to the page yet. (Design can only be used in Sandbox)

    Thank you for the information,

It is strange that such an important field is not already integrated to an existing tables.

Is there a  way in BC to quickly find out if a field does not exist in any table available in webservice?

    Thank you,

Hi, This is because there is no such field in Page. You need to use PageExtension to add fields that don't exist to the page. But this requires customization.

In addition, if you want to develop, I do not recommend publishing the standard page directly to the Web Service, because it contains a lot of programs that operate on the UI. These affect the performance of getting the value.
You can create a new clean page just to display your data for best performance.

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.

    Hi

If field is not visible in page or if you cannot add it through personalization then it will not show up in 143 or 132. First check the page to make sure field is visible or can be added through personalization. If field is not there you may need to add it through Designer  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47Odev2HMaA

Then go to Web service and try the following and add that field to Web service. Note you can try both New or Edit existing to test.
