NO WAREHOUSE REQUEST WAS FOUND (WMS NAV 2015)

Hi,

I am using WMS feature in NAV2015. My location is configured as Require Receipt, Shipment, Put-away, Pick and Bin Mandatory. I have created four bins as "Receipt", "Shipment", "Put-away" and "Pick" as their bin codes. In my location card, I have mapped "Receipt" and "Shipment" bin codes in their respective fields. Default Bin Code is Last Used Bin.

As we all know, once a sales order, purchase order & transfer order gets "Released" as status, system will update "Warehouse Register" table. BUT, my issue is when I am trying to click "Create Warehouse Shipment" in sales order, system has given me a message as follows "No Warehouse Request was found. The warehouse shipment could not be created".And, when I verify the Warehouse Register table, the SO reference is not created.

I have not done any customization in this area. Purchase Order process is working fine but the issue is for any outbound transactions like Sales Order.

Your prompt responses will be highly appreciated.

Correction- It's Warehouse Request table instead of Warehouse Register.

Check if anyone of the sales line has Drop Shipment set to true.

check if the used item in the sales line has an inventory value > 0. if not this could be the reason. check also if the bin code in the sales line has a value.

    Hi,

it seems like SO not "released".

Sales Order or Transfer Order ::"released"? - this action creates request.

Request stays in table if You reopen document!

i tried it with cronus db using locations red (no warehouse require fields set, e.g. require shipment, ...) and yellow (all these options are set). i checked the code: when releasing the document of type oubound like a sales order a whse. request is created, if the options "require shipment" and "require pick" on the selected location are set to true, otherwise not: check trigger OnRun in cu 414 and fcts. Release and CreateWhseRqst in cu 5771.

i tested it successfully using item 1920-S and location red. i got exactly the same error message than you. using the same item with location yellow there was no error message, but instead the warehouse shipment was successfully created.

also check the inventory value of the used item(s) in the sales lines of your order acc. to the selected location/bin.

    Hi Angelito,

I also faced the same error. The Solution of it is mention below.

Sol :- If you have created the Sales Order and you already did the Whse. Shipment and you are trying this once again then you'll receive this error.

Or second reason might be You haven't created the Purchasase Order and Whse. Receipt, so it will give you error  and please also check your location card if  Bin

Mandatory is true then you should create a proper Receive process then you can create Whse. Shipment.
