I am trying to post a general journal.
Hi Luis,
Looks like you are missing accounts setup in Inventory module. Go to Inventory and warehouse management > Setup > Posting > Posting form and check for Inventory receipt under Inventory tab.
The main account can be mentioned for the Item Id, Item group or All.
In these images I show the article group and I see that it is configured
Please check if this account is configured in the accounting structure for your legal entity. Please check this post which discussed the same issue.
in the test environment I can replicate the error and the solution works for me but in the production environment it does not work for me

What kind of transaction are you posting by general journal? This error is inventory related and general journals do not work with inventory posting profiles.

What type of journal are you using? Sure about general journal? It seems like an inventory journal error such as counting, movement etc
Ensure that main account mapped in inventory posting against inventory receipt is part of activated COA with active status(not suspended).
