Issues when configuring Activties: Relationship with same attribute already exists.

Hi Community,

we are importing customer master and transactional data from Dataverse into Audience Insights. The tables are already related in the source therefore CI inherits this info and creates "inherited" relationships.

When I am configuring Activities for these transactions, I can neither select the inherited relationship nor created a new one (error:  Relationship [xxx] with same attribute already exists.). What is the recommended way to create Activities in this case? (This seems to be valid for all account-related data imported from Dataverse)

My current workaropund is to duplicate the key column and create a new relationship based on the duplicate key but that is really just a quick&dirty hotfix.

    Thanks for the additional info. It seems like there is something wrong here - can you please file a support ticket (http://aka.ms/CISupport)? We will work to resolve this issue after receiving the ticket and look into what is happening.

    Hi Cade,

    the issue ist not to show the relationship in the relationship view.

    The issue is that you cannot select this "inherited" relationship when you create activities. You can also not create a new reationship because the inherited one already exists.

    as default you will not see the inherited relationships. to show it, just selct it.
