Connecting Visual Studio 2015 to CRM 2011

Hello,

I'm trying to update plugin in visual studio 2015 the issue is:

we are working on CRM 2011 and using VS 2015,

when i choose connect to dynamic 365 from tools ->connect to dynamic365 server, Visual Studio throws an exception "Set ConnectionId threw an exception".

I already installed SKD 365 it's working with 365 projects.

I'm confused with  working CRM SDKs and VS versions,

To note that I already installed SDK 2011 but i still only see connect to dynamics365 server in the tools and not connect to dynamic server.

So can anyone explain for me what's happening?

and how to work with two versions of crm SDK using one visual studio version?

Thank you
