Hi everyone

When adding a css or jscript to a webfile as a note attachment in the Portal application, how do I get the url to refer to it?

Thanks very much
Rean

    Hi Rean,

    1. If parent page is Home:

    <Your Portal URL>/<Partial Url>

    e.g:

    6763.JPG

    0576.JPG

    2. If parent page is any of other page: (and parent page of the parent page is still Home)

    <Your Portal URL>/<Parent Page URL>/<Partial Url>

    e.g:

    pastedimage1596434552426v1.png

    parent page:

    Thanks for the reply/information Clofly.

I've tried this, but still get Page not Found when I navigate to the url.

Here's the setup in the model-driven app:

    pastedimage1596479560301v1.png       pastedimage1596479584095v2.png

And then when trying to navigate to the page:

    pastedimage1596479638768v3.png

I can navigate to the bootstrap file though:

    What am I missing?

    Thanks

    Hi Rean,

It might be caused by portal cache.

You could restart portal to refresh website, then check whether the web file will be available.

I have uploaded a custom css file, it works after I restarted my portal.

    Hi Rean,

I regret to hear that it still not works.

You could try this different approach:

Edit the portal app in make.powerapps.com

    6281.JPG

In editor, we will see a blank page, it doesn't matter because event portal is not supported with power app editor,

we just need to click "Browse website", It will also force the portal website to refresh.

I uploaded a simple CSS file, it take effect immediately by following above process.

    Good luck.

(If it is still not working, please check whether spell of Partial Url is correct.)

    Regards,

    Clofly

Thanks for your feedback Clofly. I tried that - didn't work. I created a brand new web file record and attached the css file and still getting the same issue.

It's ok, we'll host the css file somewhere else at this point.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Rean
