The head accountant wanted me to change the sa PW so I went into in SQL and changed the sa PW, now the accountant can't get MR to function.

Unfortunately that's one of the side effects of changing the 'sa' password.. (only one from many).. Normally you're not supposed to use the 'sa' password in MR2012 to connect to the GP companies, but the own regular GP user id / pwd combo..
Next time when a user opens a report in MR to generate, it should get prompted with a dialog box to enter credentials.. Just use those from the GP user account.
Which version of MR2012 are you using (CUxx) ? and what connector (Legacy or DataMart) ?
Beat, thanks for the reply. I fixed our problem by changing the sa PW back to the original. I do not know which connector is used in our setup, our complete upgrade was done by our Dynamics consultants, the only think I did was setup the network, the MR2012 ver, is 2.12.13002.1
