Upgrade D365 FO - You are updating version warning

We are updating our version from V33 to V36. I was told that if I apply v36 customized package to V33 PROD system then release V36 will automatically be applied.

However, today when I tried to schedule the customized package, I did not get any warning that your system will be upgraded (that I received in the past).

Any idea what is going on here.

I have now scheduled release v36 manually and then I will apply v36 customized package. (v36 does not have many changes so not expecting trouble). Interestingly I did not get any warning message while scheduling v36 release as well. So I suspect that Microsoft has got rid of the message.
