I have created a new field in salesTable  and inventTrans table. I want to update the salesTable  new field value in inventTrans new field . I have created an extension of invent movement class and added my new field as method and using coc i have added the value in initInventTransFromBuffer Before next call.

_inventTrans.NewField=this.NewField();

next initInventTransFromBuffer(_inventTrans,_movement_orig);

Please help me in proceeding further or

any other way to do this?

I have the same question (0)

    What kind of help do you need? Is your code not working?

    Even without adding any fields you can always fetch the field from SalesTable by using table relations (InventTrans -> InventTransOrigin -> SalesLine -> SalesTable). Are you sure you want to add this field directly in InventTrans? What is it used for?

    You're still describing your implementation details and not what business problem you're trying to solve.

    Do you realize that a single order can have many lines, and each line can have multiple inventory transactions? Why do you want to duplicate the same value to all of them?

    If you want to initialize value from SalesTable to packing slip (or, at least when packing slip is posted), add your field to CustPackingSlipJour (packing slip header) or CustPackingSlipTrans (packing slip line).
