Order date vs. Posting date report

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi,

I am new to NAV, and I need to prepare a report based on Order date and posting date in order to determin delivery time.

Those two dates are the only ones we use for this moment in my company and thats why only those two can be used (in my opinion).

Be informed that, Order date is the date I create the PO and posting date is the date I receive the goods in the warehouse.

To simplify,  I need to have a report with actual delivery times.

Thank you for your help.

If these are the dates that you're using, I think that the delivery time is the number of days between Order date and Posting Date.

Posting Date - Order Date = Number of days for delivery.

Your report can simply loop through the Purchase Headers (table 38) and shows this data.

    Hi Stefano,

In deed it is, but where is a Report I can both use Order date and posting date refering to Purchase order , that`s the question.

    Thank you.

Not understood what's your problem sorry. Do you want to have a list of Purchase Orders with a delivery time for each order?

    This is extremely easy...

    Create your dataitem:

And in OnAfterGetRecord, calculate the delivery time:

    Hi Marcin,

there is no such standard report that would compare Posting Date and Order Date. As Stefano said you have to develop it yourself or use BI tools (such as Jet Reports or similar) to create the report.
