Hi Everyone,
we have a customer that wants to deploy Dynamics 365 for finance and operations, but they have restrictions on UAT and production that it is disconnected from the internet, and the customer can not grant internet access, is there any work around to have offline deployment for on premises ? since the azure service fabric cluster requires to download assets from azure and also needs communication with the bridge service that needs internet access. so is there any workaround ?
Thank you,
Internet connection is required for D365FO on premises deployment. There is no workaround. However Internet connection is only needed when you deploy environments or code.
But if your customer can't make that happen, then they can't deploy the system.
Here are the system requirements:
[View:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/get-started/system-requirements-on-prem#internet-connectivity-requirements:750:50]
"Connectivity to LCS is required for deployment, code deployment, and servicing operations."
thanks a lot Nikolaos for your usual help. so after deployment internet access can be revoked, only the bridge service will fail right ? which will not affect the ERP .
Yep, the system itself works offline. But for servicing you need Internet connectivity.
