Import alert setup for batch jobs

Hi All ,

Client has lot of batch jobs and which will run on different recurrences. Client expects that when the batch job fails then system should trigger mail to the respective users .

As we have hundreds of batch jobs( some related to external integration tools) , we need to apply the alert setup against these batch jobs.

Can any one tell me that do we need to do the alert setup manually for each batch job or can we import the alert setup for all batch jobs instead of doing the manully for each batch job ?

Does AX has any standard setup to import the alert setup for all batch jobs ?

Please share your thoughts on the above requirement and what are the best possible ways to apply the alert setup .

I'm a developer, so I wouldn't bother looking for any import - I would write a piece of code going through all batch jobs and enabling it.

It seems you consider it as well, because you chose the category Development / Customization / SDK (if it wasn't done by mistake).

May I remind you to use more descriptive titles for your questions? All your recent threads had very short and generic titles such as Batch Jobs, Main Accounts or Fixed assets. It doesn't make clear what the threads are about.

For example, I'm going to rename this thread from Batch Jobs to Import alert setup for batch jobs.
