Trace doesn't has any session error in a x 2012

Posted on by 242

Hi,

I am trying to import a trace file which was traced in one environment (ax 2012) to a trace parser in other environment (ax 2012) and getting a error message 'trace doesn't has any session'.

If I do both trace and import the file in the same environment, it is successfully getting imported.

Please let me know if this issue can be resolved.

Thanks!

Are both systems having same AX version? What about the Windows version?

Was it one and same trace file which you managed to open in one system but not in the other system? That should be your test case if you assume that the problem is in viewing the trace.

Or, did you capture two traces in two systems and the other one doesn't contain data? That problem could be explained also by AOS settings - is tracing enabled in the AX server (AOS) configuration?
