Cancel of Suspend license /project?

A potential customer is telling they had purchased on premises license for dynamics ERP AX, but still did not start implementation yet, and now their project is delayed due to "management changes", and finally they converted their license to cloud subscription and their project is still under analysis..

Know they are asking us: if for any reason in future they cannot pay the annual subscription license fees for Dynamcis 365 FinOps " as they see their project would take more time in analysis and also implementation did not start yet , they said it is really a waste of money" , then is there a way to suspend the annual license fees or they had to terminate project to stop subscription fees? any recommendation guys or is it possible to suspend or cancel license on FinOps 365 subscription?

Hello,

No information on suspended license in the licensing guide: dynamics.microsoft.com/.../

Suggest you contact the Microsoft Sales/Support for the information.

If you cancel less than 14 days after you place the order, you will receive a full credit on the next invoice.

If you cancel later than 14 days after you place the order, the cancellation will be scheduled to occur at renewal.

Hello WajDhaikal,

There is no suspension as such, although the request for licenses is raised as an annual license. LCS licenses can be revoked and Azure subscriptions can be cancelled by reaching out to the licensing team. Also, seek the Microsoft account's manager, in this case.

You can reach out to the team that issued the SKU's/LCS licenses to the client.
Note: While revoking the Azure licenses, verify if there are any dependent applications running on the same tenant as D365 FinOps.
