Moving CRM online organisation from one 365 domain to another

Hi,

I need to move a CRM online organisation from one 365 domain to another.

Last time I checked we had to  create\purchase a CRM org on the destination domain and data migrate or use the "adapter" to synch data. Did anything changed recently or a "data migration" driven solution is still the only way? Will Microsoft enable some sort of import or clone feature any time soon?

Regarding the adapter, where is it these days? is it up to date with CRM online. Last time (when online was still on 2013),  I had confirmation from MS support that the adapter would work synching data from one online to another online instance.

    Hi Bruno, nothing has changed in this respect but you might be able to ask support to move your org from one tenant to another. The adaptor hasn't changed from the 2013 version as far as I know.

    Do you know the link to get the adaptor. if I record well it was only for partners, right?

    Is there a way to access the backup files from another domain or move them to One Drive or some location which can be accessed from the other domain? It seems like this might be a nice work around, provided the restore utility also permits browsing for backups.
