    Hi,

Can you please elaborate on your question? Do you have a Dynamics 365 license in your tenant, either a customer license or partner sandbox?

    Hi,

This error occurs because the user account you’re using in LCS is flagged as a prospect user, which means it doesn’t have the required permissions to deploy or link an Azure subscription. This typically happens when:

    • The account is not associated with a customer or partner project in LCS with the correct role (e.g., Project Owner or Environment Manager).

    • The Azure subscription is not linked to the same tenant as your LCS project.

    • The account lacks Azure Contributor rights on the subscription.

    •

    ✅ How to Resolve

    1. Check your LCS role

      • In LCS, open the project → Project users.

      • Ensure your role is Project Owner or Environment Manager. If not, ask an admin to update it.

    2. Verify Azure subscription link

      • Go to Project settings â–¸ Azure connectors.

      • Confirm the subscription is linked and the service principal is configured correctly.

    3. Check Azure permissions

      • In the Azure portal, ensure your account has Contributor or higher on the subscription and resource group.

    4. If you are a prospect user

      • Only Microsoft or the partner who created the project can convert a prospect user to a full user.

      • Contact your partner or Microsoft support to update your status.

    5.

Could you confirm if updating your LCS role and Azure permissions resolves the issue?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Daniele
