Transport method on Intrastat form / report

Hi,

Does anybody know how to get the Transport method to appear on the intrastat records?

I read (and logically it should) link to the 'Mode of delivery' from the customer, but cant see the option. It is possible I need to set a carrier against the mode of delivery, and assign a 'Transportation method' against this but it isn't clear from technet or help.

From past recollection, I think that Shipments use this record also?

Has anybody managed to achieve this.

    Hi Steven,

    In Organization administration > Periodic > Foreign trade > You can find the Transportation method setup form. This information can be used for purchase and sales orders.

    Hi Andrei,

    Yes, I already have this configured.

    I have found that the field is populated on the foreign trade tab of the sales order and the purchase order. Unfortunately this seem to be a stand alone field that the person creating the sales order needs to remember to populate (which is a lot of unnecessary work).

    Looks like may need a small development.
