Problem with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 on Lifecycle Services Cloud Hosted Environments

Hi All,

I am trying to deploy a Dynamics AX 2012 R3 environment in Lifecycle Services but I has not been possible, because when I try to connect with my Azure Subscription the following error is shown:

"An error has occurred. This error has been logged in our datacenter."

Please let me know the solution, because I need to deploy this environment.

    Hi Blanca,

    You have to login on LCS using your partnersource or customersource account. It is possible that you have the same Windows account for this as your Azure subscription but it is managed separately. If you don't have access to partersource or customersource, LCS is not available.

    If you do have access, you can retry (also using InPrivate navigation).

    If the error remains, you have to contact Microsoft Support for this.

    Blanca - if you can provide more details about how far in the deployment process you get and what options you picked during deployment (new vs. existing domain/network for example), we could possibly provide more help.  The error you are seeing is basically our generic pass through error which means we don't have a specific error message for the issue you are seeing.

    One reason that we know of for these right now is if you pick a domain name without a .com extension, which we will be having a better error message for shortly.

    Hi Kevin,

    I am executing the following procedure:

    1. I acess to Dynamics LifeCycle Services (https://lcs.dynamics.com)

    2. I log in

    3. I pick a Project

    4. Click on Cloud Hosted Environments

    5. It shows another window where I have to put my Azure Subscription ID

    6. When I put my Subscription number and active "Next" Button y get the following error and I can't continue:

    "An error has occurred. This error has been logged in our datacenter."

    Please let me know the solution, because I need to deploy this environment.

    Blanca - getting an error when you try and enter your Subscription ID usually occurs when you don't have the full 32 digit GUID of your subscription ID copied correctly from your Azure Management Portal - the ID that you are pasting should be the GUID found on the Settings tab of the Azure Management Portal that is formatted like this:   xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi Kevin,

    You are right. I was putting a wrong 10 digit number in subscription ID. I received this Suscriptor number from MCT Software & Services. I suppose I was confused between Subscriptor and Subscription ID.  I found the correct number in the azure management portal as you indicated me.
