Dear Experts,

I have a confusion when i add 5% VAT while making item and then tried to make PO against that item with selecting 15% VAT the system deosn't stop me with error or warning. Please clear me what will be the effect on the system. I mean to say the system will take 5% or 15% VAT in the system. Please clear me on this. Thanks in advance.

I want to know why it happens in the system as i said in the post on item i select 5% and in PO 15 % on PO which VAT will influnce 5% or 15 % that's i am confuse.

Good morning to both experts,
I will just show a scene, let say by mistake i add old 5%VAT while making a Product item and then I am going to make a transaction on it. let suppose I made a PO and in the PO i add 15%VAT on this item with 5%VAT. What VAT will be taken by the system Either 5%VAT or 15%VAT as i post the transaction. Further, where I will check these VAT effect in the system that which VAT 5% or 15% has been taken???.

Hi Shabir,

The 5% is just a default value and is not required. System will not throw any errors or warnings.

Hi Shabir,

If you select 15% on the PO line, it will be 15%.

And you can check the tax sales calculation on the line.
