How to enable D365 Marketing early access features?

Hi!

I want to try out the wave 2 2020 preview features in D365 Marketing. I have enabled the wave 2 early access features for an environment in the Power Platform Admin Center. I understand that I now must update Marketing manually in order to get the D365 Marketing preview bits (?).

The documentation on how to keep marketing up to date seems to be outdated. I guess I now must do the manual update from the Power Platform Admin Center. How do I do this? I can see the list of applications in the Environment but I can't find the "Manage" option that is mentioned here. The only option that is available when clicking the "three dots" on "Dynamics 365 Marketing application" is "Details" and there I can see that the current version installed is "1.35.10064.1061" which is the August 2020 update. How do I update to the September update so I  can try out the early access features?

Rgds,

Andreas

    Hi Adreas,

Do you mean that "Manage" option is not available in your power platform admin center?

If so, please check whether your account has system administrator role:

For your second question, the availability of September 2020 update varies by region, we couldn't select it manually.

In other word, we need to wait for the update packages to be pushed to us.

But since you have enabled 2020 wave 2 early access, then the update packages shall be available.

I have enabled the early access to my environment, and 1.35.10065.2064 is available for me.

Try to fix "Manage" option issue at first to be able to see marketing application update page, then check whether September update packages would be available for you.

Also, try whether you could open legacy applications center directly via the link.(X is your Xrm region number.)

Thanks Clofly! That solved my problem, I was simply missing the new location for the "Dynamics 365 apps" in the PPAC. I was clicking "Dynamics 365 apps" after first selecting an environment, and when doing so the "Manage" option was not available. Thanks!
