DoI - Email Confirmation with external Thank you Page

Hello together,

we are setting up the Marketing application, without the portal functionality. So far everything fine.

DOI is enabled and the user is getting the E-Mail messages sent to his address. However in the default settings for DOI, you can only select a "Marketing Page" as "Thank You Page", where the user is getting redirected once he confirms the link in the E-Mail.

Marketing Pages however only work with a portal instance. How is this handled in case no portal is used?

Thank you for any input and best regards,

Philipp

    Hi Philipp,

From screenshot in this introduction of section :

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/double-opt-in#set-up-and-enable-double-opt-in-on-your-instance

It seems that elder version marketing application only supports "Marketing Page". So I assume you were using elder version.

In my environment, which enabled 2020 wave 1 early access, there is new field "Use marketing pages for thank you" in DOI setting,

thus I can set the field to No and use external web page as "Thank You Page".

    e.g:

My "Thank You Page" of DOI is hosted on my own server.

You could also enable the new early access for your environment,

a free wordpress hosting would an option, whatever hosting options, you should have privilege to add a custom web page for website.(just a simple HTML page is ok)

    Regards,

    Clofly
