Error while generating report through Electronic Reporting (ER)

Hi experts,

I am trying to export the ledgerJournalTrans data using ER, but getting this error

An error occurred during the 'Format mapping' run. For more information, contact your system administrator.
Evaluating binding of format component DDIR Excel Report/DDIR/Range_DDIR/CompanyID.
Evaluating expression for path 'model/RecordList/Records/b_CompanyID'.Path 'RecordList' is not bound

Any idea how to solve this issue.

Hello Amit,

There seems a binding missing in your model mapping.

Have you checked that your record list element is correctly bound?

Would be great if you could possibly share some screenprints.

By the way, why do you need an electronic report for ledgerjournal trans data?

There are financial reports available that can give you those data.

Thanks for the reply.

Further, I need to build one report which should provide the information that how much amount is required to post to profit and loss every month out of total pre-payment expenses which was booked using general journal which additional transaction attribute like Start date, end date, etc.

I have bind the record list element, but now I can't see version 2 of my data model to select to prepare new output format.

I am not sure if the community can help you much with the detailed design of your electronic report.

What might help are some TecTalks that MS did and where you can see how they handle their design.
